Au Pair in Australia working hours and pay rates

Au Pair in Australia weekly stipend: $6 AUD per hour 

Au pairs should have 2 consecutive days per week free.
In return for your hospitality the Au Pair is expected to assist in the home with general duties which will include attending to the children, one night babysitting, light housekeeping, helping with the washing and ironing, bed making, tidying, dusting, and preparing meals. 

Airfares and insurance

The cost of return airfares to Australia and visa application is paid by the Au Pair, as are medical and insurance expenses.
