Good Morning Miryam,

All went well with our Skype interview with Eleanor this weekend. She sounds just perfect and we were able to go over quite a few things in the hour we spoke. Thank you for the interview suggestions on your website, they were very helpful.

We are very excited to offer Eleanor the position.  While we have been looking for someone to begin with us mid-August, she mentioned that she will be moving with her family to Turkey at the end of that month and that starting any earlier would be highly unlikely.  I am mindful that as I am due the first half of September, any extra time together before the babies arrive would be good for everyone involved. Please let her know that we are happy for her to join us just as soon as she is ready. Please let me know the next steps to take, should Eleanor accept the position.

And thank you for all your help! This process has been extremely stress free so far (with the exception of pre-interview jitters). I can’t imagine it is always this easy but you are very good at this match making game. Eleanor very much reminds us of our niece.

I have been given your contact details by friends who have been very happy with your service, as my family is shortly to relocate from Singapore to Sydney. We’re originally from Sydney (myself, my wife, three boys aged 6m 2.5yrs and 4.5yrs), and are thinking about moving back to a large place in Dural, but that is still a good few months off.

While interested in au pair services, my principal query is regarding hiring our existing au pair in Singapore to be our au pair in Sydney. She is from the Philippines, aged 39, and has expressed an interest in visiting Australia. We would, of course, be more than happy to pay the usual placement fees for this – we just have a preference for someone who is already known to ourselves and our kids.

Wonderful experience! Just after contacting the agency we have received a list of au- pair profiles. It was great to see the photos of the au-pairs, their letters to the family and their references. This greatly assisted us in the selection process. Once we have selected a few profiles, the contact details were provided to us by the agency. This enabled us to get in direct contact with the girls. The only challenge was the time difference with Europe. Otherwise the new technology of video and chat systems helped us to bridge the geographical distance. Therefore I felt like interviewing the girls in my room:-) All girls were fantastic! It was really hard to make a choice. The agency assisted us all the way. And our new Au-pair arrived to Sydney just 1 week later!!! This was an excellent experience! I would only suggest to have a forum for the au-pairs on the website, so that they could get in touch with other girls in their neighbouring suburbs, get some tips, exchange information.

Here I am in Australia, since a week now, and everything is wonderful !!!

The family is very careful to me, and takes care to respect their commitments to the OZ Aupair agency.

I’m considered as a family member, and it helped me feel at ease very quickly. I looked after 2 lovely children!!!

I am very pleased how things hapenned with OZ Aupair.

The person who took care of  me (Mrs Aubert), prepared me well, and was able to answer my questions.

It’s very reassuring to know that I can count on her help when needed. It’s also very reassuring to hear that Oz Aupair wanted me to go in a safe family!!

In this regard, for all those who want to take this opportunity to work as an  Au pair, please, be very vigilant!

Go on an adventure is a good thing. However, leave, without actual contact, I recommend!

I haven’t been able to leave without the support of OZ Aupair agency. There are a lot of abuses and ill-intentioned people!

I urge you to go with the support of an agency, especially OZ Aupair one,  you willn’t regret it!!!!

Voici un peu plus d’une semaine que je suis installée en Australie, et tout se passe merveilleusement bien!

La famille fait vraiment tout pour que je sois à l’aise, et prend soin de respecter tous les engagements qu’elle a pris avec l’agence OZ Aupair. C’est important pour ma famille d’accueil de me considérer comme un membre de leur famille. Cela est vraiment agréable, et m’a permis d’être rapidement à l’aise.

Je m’occupe de deux magnifiques petites filles, qui m’ont également accueilli à bras grands ouverts !

L’agence OZ Aupair m’a vraiment soutenue et accompagnée tout au long du processus. La personne qui s’occupe de moi (Mrs Aubert) a su parfaitement répondre à mes questions. Elle m’a bien préparé et m’a donné les informations nécessaires.

C’est important pour moi de savoir que je ne suis pas toute seule, et qu’en cas de besoin, je pourrai m’adresser à elle. C’est également très important pour moi, de savoir que l’agence OZ Aupair, voulait s’assurer de m’envoyer dans un cadre sain, afin que mon séjour se passe en toute sécurité.

D’ailleurs, toutes celles qui souhaitent partir, et saisir cette formidable opportunité de travailler en temps que fille au pair en Australie, je vous déconseille de partir sans l’appui d’une agence.(surtout dans un pays aussi loin!!)

Je ne serai pas partie sans le soutien réefl d’une agence. Quitte à choisir, je préfère  opter pour la sécurité, que pour la pseudo facilité!!

Il y a beaucoup trop d’abus et beaucoup de personnes mal intentionnées. Soyez vigilantes les filles!

Donc si vous souhaitez vous rendre dans ce superbe pays, futures filles au pair, je vous conseille de prendre contact avec l’agence OZ Aupair, vous ne serez pas déçues!!!

Je suis en contact avec l’agence Aussie AuPair depuis environ 3 mois : j’ai d’abord rempli un questionnaire sur Internet pour présenter mon profil. A partir de là, l’agence a accepté mon profil et m’a envoyé un questionnaire plus complet afin de me constituer un profil plus détaillé pour les familles. Ensuite, j’ai attendu et Myriam, la coordinatrice de l’agence m’a envoyé des profils de famille très détaillé (avec nombre d’enfants, situation, description de la maison, des tâches ménagères, du salaire, etc..). Je devais lui dire si j’étais d’accord pour qu’elle leur montre mon profil et à partir de là, je pouvais contacter la famille par e-mail puis les avoir par téléphone.

Au bout de plusieurs tentatives, j’ai été prise chez les Jelley’s, chez qui je m’apprête à passer 9 mois à partir d’Octobre. Myriam m’a ensuite aidé pour les démarches de préparation du départ et m’a promis un soutien quand je serai sur place.

Ce qui est particulièrement positif avec cette agence c’est que l’au-pair n’a aucun frais de participation pour trouver la famille. De plus, les recherches sont très rapides et très variées : Myriam a su me proposer une dizaine de famille dans les plus brefs délais. Le seul inconvénient pour les Françaises est que tous les contacts avec l’agence sont en anglais.
